Explanation (c) Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Rural Development is located in Jabalpur, it was estab lished in 1964. Note: It is noteworthy that there is no national level training institute in the country for elected representa tives of Panchayat Raj Institutions. For this reason, the Central Government is also giving necessary support in the development and expansion of Sanjay Gandhi Youth Leadership and Rural Development Training Institute.
